Well, I got the job!
I wasn't all that afraid I wouldn't get it, though I did wonder what the fuck I was going to do if I didn't.
Anyway, to all of you, thank you so much. I appreciate your kindness and support throughout this long, hard summer.
Since I'm going to be working at a resort and I don't want to worry about losing this job over a blog, I'm eschewing The Blog from here on out. It's been an interesting five years--I don't think I have a single reader that has come through all five years with me--and I'll still have a myspace. It's set to private, and if you're not already a friend, you'll have to know my last name or my email address to get added.
